Before following steps 1-7, there is one important thing to bear in mind when making the suggestions. Namely, that the suggestions are or will be formulated in the present tense. For example, you should structure the suggestions in such a way that you use (e.g.) I AM, i.e. in relation to the present moment and not (e.g.) I will… .
The steps to self-hypnosis are then actually self-explanatory. First, you name your topic, i.e. the goal you want to achieve. Then you choose a suitable symbol for yourself, which you preferably see several times a day (a little tip: use the symbol as your cell phone background, for example, so you see it several times a day, even if sometimes not consciously). Once you have done this, create the suggestions that suit you and your goal (using the criteria just mentioned). Once you have this, you can get down to the actual work. So, close your eyes, imagine the symbol, go through the suggestions in your mind and then open your eyes again. And that is how simple self-hypnosis is with the symbol technique đ
The positive effects of self-hypnosis are, for example, reducing stress, switching off from everyday life for a short (or long) moment, strengthening self-confidence, consolidating positive suggestions, help / support with small things.
