Worth knowing animal communication
Short:
Animals can also lie (for their own protection)
- E.g. animal hurts paw
- Nothing visible on the outside
- Animal is afraid of the vet
- Therefore conceals pain
- When asked if it is in pain, it lies to avoid the vet
Mirror themes:
- The animal mirrors the owner’s behaviour (but the owner is not always aware of this)
- Animal keeps repeating a behaviour that was not there before
- Animal shows behavioural abnormalities
Long:
Yes, animals can also lie. This is usually done to protect themselves. For example, if the animal’s paw hurts, nothing is visible on the outside, the animal is afraid of the vet and therefore, when asked if it is in pain, deliberately conceals it (i.e. lies) so that it doesn’t have to go to the vet. It is therefore essential that any problems are first checked by a vet and / or veterinary practitioner.
Mirror issues are also often a reason why someone wants animal communication. In the case of a mirror issue, the animal mirrors the behaviour of its owner (although the owner is not always or usually unaware of this) and therefore does not notice it. The animal repeats a previously unseen behaviour or shows other behavioural abnormalities. In the case of a mirror issue, however, the person does not realise that his / her animal is only mirroring himself / herself. In other words, the animal is behaving differently than before. For example, the cat no longer wants to play, even though it loved to play a few days ago. This could be because his girlfriend / boyfriend has broken up with him / her and therefore no longer does anything, apart from being sad, lying in bed and “numbing“ himself / herself with unhealthy food and drink and endless scrolling through social media. The cat then mirrors this. This means that when the owner starts to feel better again, the cat’s behaviour will usually (and if it really is a mirror issue) change again.
