Worth knowing child hypnosis
Short:
- The Critical Factor (CF), which can distinguish reality from fiction, does not develop until around the age of 5 (-> constant hypnosis, i.e. words, sentences etc. that are said to the child act like suggestions… both positive and negative)
- 6-11 year olds internalize the culture in which they grow up – identification with what is said and the actions of the parents, if these do not match, challenges arise
- From around the age of 12, the CF is fully mature
- Until the age of 13, the child is energetically connected to the mother (this is where mirror issues come from)
- Mirror issues -> (mostly unnoticed) issues of the parents, which the child then shows (which dissolve when the parents have addressed their issues)
Long:
The critical factor in children
Children only develop the critical factor (CF), the ability to distinguish reality from fiction, from around the age of 5. Until then, they live in a kind of permanent trance or permanent hypnosis. This means that everything they hear goes straight into their subconscious. Regardless of whether it is positive or negative.
Why the choice of words is so important
As children are in this permanent hypnosis until the age of 5, you should pay particular attention to your choice of words. Even ironic remarks can act like suggestions and leave deep traces.
The good news: if you sometimes lose your nerve in stressful everyday life, hypnosis can help you find peace and serenity.
Development at primary school age (6-11 years):
During this formative phase, children not only internalize the values and norms of those around them, but also develop their own value system. Parents act as the most important role models – both through their active behavior and their expressed beliefs. The congruence between parental words and actions is particularly crucial:
- What parents say becomes the child’s inner compass
- How parents act becomes the child’s lived reality
If these two levels do not match, this can lead to inner conflicts and challenges.
The critical factor from the age of 12
The critical factor is fully developed from around the age of 12. Until then, children and young people are in a slight permanent trance. It is therefore important to pay attention to what media they consume. For example, scary films or other content that could be too much for them.
Age restrictions on DVDs (0, 6, 12, 16 & 18) exist for a reason.
Mirror themes: When children mirror their parents’ themes
Until around the age of 13, the child is energetically connected to the mother. For this reason, mirror themes often arise. Mirror issues are unconscious issues of the parents that are reflected in the child’s behavior. Parents then wonder why their child is suddenly behaving in certain ways.
What to do about mirror issues?
If you notice conspicuous behavior in your child, it is advisable to look at yourself first:
- Reflect: Is the child’s behavior perhaps a reflection of your own issues?
- Work on yourself: The child’s mirror issues often dissolve as soon as the parents have dealt with their own issues.
- Hypnosis for the child makes little sense in such cases, as the problem is not with the child, but with the parents.
